Ok, I'm a bit confused, does the base game now include Morrowind?
I'm looking at maybe buying Summerset, as the description mentions that it includes the base game, which I don't currently own, but it doesn't mention Morrowind. However, I've read in a few places that Morrowind is now included with the base game.

The version I'm thinking of buying is : https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/the-elder-scrolls-online-summerset/c55j4fvr6p9c
There is a version called TES: Online, which is about £15 cheaper and mentions Morrowind: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/the-elder-scrolls-online/brkx5crmrtc2

BTW, If I purchase the Summerset version, and purchase ESO+ for a month only, will it unlock Morrowind for me forever, if it's not available as part of the Summerset version ? Or will it be locked after my month finishes?

Summerset does not come with Morrowind. If you buy that version you'll need to purchase Morrowind from the Crown Store. Morrowind is included with the ESO "Standard Edition" that doesn't include Summerset. Either way you're buying one of the chapters separately.

Does this game run okay on base PS4?
Runs fine. I see some frame stuttering occasionally in highly populated areas (and sometimes just randomly when nobody else is around) but the vast majority of the time the game is fine.

After 26 levels of totally soloing everything I realized I should probably just replay Skyrim lol. I’m not done with ESO but it scratched an itch I didn’t know I had and inspired me to go back to a purely single player game. I completed the main quest and many of the side quests in one playthrough years ago but never did the DLC and missed a ton of stuff I’m sure. Starting it again it feels pretty fresh and the remastered PS4 version looks great.

Just finished the Summerset story quests.

Absolutely fantastic.

I’m now 151CP so inching closer to 160CP. My clothing skill is at 40 so it’ll be a while before I can craft my own gear.

I’ll do Orsinium next.

You can always ask someone else to craft the gear for you if you provide the mats and a fee for example. Also be aware that crafting good sets often requires you to have unlocked a lot of traits so start researching early.

And crafting 160 CP costs a lot of mats, much more than 150.

Yeah, I’ve been doing a lot of researching of traits. Have unlocked 6 on half of my medium armor pieces.

So I'm a newbie having just started this game yesterday. I'm level 6 and am just taking on numerous quests as the game gets me accustomed to all the locations and general gameplay loop. I'm interested in what to expect moving forward into terms of when I can expect to hit endgame content and when can I access dungeons or instances? Do I need to have a party or is there a matchmaking system present? Should I look into buying armor or weapons or can I expect drops as I continue the main story? I just wrapped up the Scarlet Judge quest for reference. Any advice or tips would be great since there is a ton of stuff and I have little MMO experience.

Damn I don’t think I can wait till October to pick up the dlc! I want the Assassin’s and thieves guild packs!
I just picked up 3 of the 4 dlcs I was missing by paying someone in game gold to gift them from the store. Zos has said crowns for in game items isn’t a violation of the tos. Exchange rate was 100 gold per crown so I got Shadows of the Hist, Clockwork City and Horns of the Reach for 500k gold.

Gotta find someone you trust or take a gamble to do it that way though. If you do take the gamble and do multiple dlcs, just trade your gold one dlc pack at a time to minimize your risk.

So, I went to cancel my ESO Plus membership for a few months because I'm focusing on beating all the Kingdom Hearts games right now and probably wont' get around to playing anytime soon. (I'm on PS4)

I went to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Services List

Exactly where its supposed to be at and.... nothing. Vanished.

Finally poked around the Web Store and found a way to luckily turn off auto-renew from there. But... like.. I do not understand why a entire item just would vanish from my service list like that. Its so bizarre.

Alcast has pretty good guides for every class, you will do well following them as you learn the game and beyond.
Cool, it seems like a pretty thorough guide. Does the skill advisor do a pretty good job of leading you through all the skills you should pick though?
The guide seems great, just not sure if I want to keep looking at it during my whole time playing. Also they suggest reading a few other guides they link to, it's just a lot of reading I guess haha.

Not sure if anyone has had any experience with this, but figured I’d ask before I do it.

My wife and I usually can share games between two Xbox’s in our house, I buy it on my Home Xbox and play on another while she plays on the home.

I can buy the ESO collection, which comes with the gold pack (4 dlcs) and Summerset, in the Xbox store; so it would be tied to my Xbox instead of my eso account, circumventing buying it with crowns.

Would the dlc and Summerset be playable by my wife on my home system on her account? I THINK it would, since it would install the gold pack and the Summerset upgrade to my Xbox.

I’m not sure, and it’s $60, so I figured I’d ask!

I don't think you can share the eao expansions with game Sharing.

The skill advisor can generally coincide with an Alcast guide if you set the correct one in game. On Xbox at least, you go up to the name of the advisor path and hit the left stick down to open a new menu with like 5 different choices. Each one will tell you the primary stat(Magicka for mag dps and Stamina for Stam dps) so from there you should be able to find one that aligns with your desired build.

Sorcs have more options because they can run multiple types of mag dps, from pet sorc to cc specialist to regular elemental wizard. I’d take a look at each option in game and then choose whichever best fits your desired play style. You can always change things up later on for a nominal fee. Most I’ve seen for a respec is like 15k gold. The price is based on the number of skill points you have applied.

I bought the game last week, but I haven't started it yet. I've just been so stumped on which class to choose. I generally play healer in MMOs, but healing in this game seems like it's less up my street. It sounds like mainly throwing down AoE heals and casting spells that auto-target the weakest ally? Back in Oblivion I used to enjoy stealthing into areas and taking enemies out with bows and blades before I got caught and had to start whacking things with reckless abandon. So for that reason I've been considering a Nightblade. But then I watched a streamer last night mess around with a sorcerer wielding a bow and dual axes while constantly casting this spell that seemingly made him invis while he had this swirling AoE around him. Oh and he could dash around in a spark of lightning. That looked so dope, but I'm not sure if that kind of build would be super far away from me and dependent on specific sets/stats. ESO looks so cool in how you can really play around with builds, but it's also intimidating since I can definitely get into moods where I start to get fixated on other classes. Should I play it safe with the Nightblade until I've built a foundation with the game?

Nightblade is definitely the best for stealth. You can change everything you want about your character later on except for your class. But you can pretty much tackle whatever role you want: healer, dps , tank. Or create a PvP character.

Note that stealth attacking enemies is less useful than in the single-player series and is mainly useful for missions from the Thieving Guild, Dark Broterhood and to avoid mobs or enemies in PvE and PvP.

If you need any others let me know. I don't have them all but do have a good chunk of them so there's a chance I can craft what you need for feseachr purposes. :)

With this free eso+ trial which of the small dlcs could I finish (main story quests) if I have a couple of hours to play a day? Don't want to start something I can't finish. Which would you recommend?

Orsinium is an amazing introduction since it’s earlier in the over-arching plot than other DLC stories (they all connect vaguely) and very high quality. Not sure if you’ll be able to finish it in time though. Clockwork City is shorter, and absolutely amazing if you love TES lore (usually one of this game’s weaknesses) but later in the overarching plot. It’s still a self contained story with great quality though.

Hard to go wrong with any DLC location though! Morrowind and Summerset are definitely the longest, being chapters. Otherwise you can easily pick a location that visually appeals to you and go from there.

Why does Marrowind have to look like such a turd-shack when other DLC areas look incredible? I guess any area kinda looks like an upgrade compared to Marrowind from what I've seen...

The ESO plus giveaway has let me start into the thieves and assassins guild quests, they seem pretty great so far!

I think Vvardenfell looks great with the exception of Red Mountain which looks bad. I don’t know how you mess up the centerpiece that you can see everywhere so badly. The volcano in Stonefalls, a vanilla area looks better. Balmora is probably my favorite city in ESO and then you have Red Mountain in the background that drags it down.

Finished the Orsinium story quests.

I enjoyed it, but I liked the recent stories a bit more.

Can you play through the Craglorn story solo?
Kind of but grouping makes it a bit easier on you. I haven't done it yet due to some of the harder missions to solo, so I'd be more than happy to have a pal to complete it with!

Hit CP200.

And my blacksmithing, clothing, woodworking, and provisioning skills are at 50.

Do you guys still deconstruct stuff after you hit 50 for the materials? Or do you sell it for gold?

What’s a good way to make a quick buck? I kinda spent too much getting my provisioning to 50.

I got into a big trading guild but I need 15K to get access to the store. I have a bunch of purple rings and necklaces that I’d like to sell (probably not worth much, but it adds up).

I’ve been trying to find some purple jewelry, but the ones I need have only dropped in blue. Can I improve it? Would it have the same stats as if it had dropped normally?

I usually deconstruct for materials unless they're the kind that you can sell to merchants for 280% their value.

Definitely join a trading guild and sell any extra motifs and other rare materials you can get your hand on. Also craft Nirnhorned weapons and amror, as folks are always looking to buy those for research purposes since they're difficult to find as drops.

Check out the Nordic Trading Co. They have no fee but require you to at least try to keep 30 items on your sellers list at all times. I've made so much gold through this guild..

Make sure you’re researching everything. It’ll increase your likelihood of master writs and allow you to build sets.

I’m itching for a new MMO on consoles, I played ESO over a year ago, I got to max level but didn’t bother much after that, it was a combination of not being grabbed by the combat and the game downloading a +60 GB patch at one point.

Anyways, I’m willing to give it another try but, how is the population these days? Specifically for endgame content as that’s what matters mostly for me, also how much endgame content is there if I don’t buy any of the expansions? Any BIS gear locked behind those expansions?

With the Werewolf revamp coming I hope Vampires get an overhaul at some point too. I’d actually love a vampire questline added at some point. Maybe after the next chapter: Murkmire > Elsweyr (Chapter) > Vampire DLC (Maybe in County Skingrad or Skyrim)

I got Heartbreaker Ebon greaves yesterday which is a better version on Ebon. That was nice for my tank. Still no Ilambris helm or shoulder motif.

Mid year mayhem has been fun, on PC all servers are full I’m CP 490 so I’ve been in non champ having a blast not being destoyed by 750s.

I also joined a 500 person guild and started doing raids for the first time. Ran HRC and CR, got full Arms of Relequen for my Stamina Nightblade.

There is a free week promo going on for TESO on Steam until 8/15, and it includes the base game along with the Morrowind expansion. Almost finished installing it and trying to decide which class to go with. Remember being really excited about the new class that came with Morrowind, The one with the Bear, but I also so some major complaints about it after it had been out for a bit.

Any recommendations for a starter class, for basically solo play?

The only complaints I hear about the Warden is the thick bear getting in the way of other players turning in writs. Dark Elf Warden Magicka DPS is really fun and good for solo play as the bear will take some attention away and you can do massive AOE damage.

Ended up going with the Warden when I started playing earlier today.
